FINALLY - A HEALING SPACE FOR CREATIVES, SINGERS, & EXPRESSIVE SOULS - TO RECLAIM THE DIGNITY YOUR VOICE WAS NEVER GRANTED
UNSILENCED
Reclaim your voice after
trauma or chronic stress.
6 weeks of class, Live Online via Zoom
DOORS OPEN SEPTEMBER 21st, 2026 CLASS STARTS OCTOBER 8th, 2026
You didn’t lose your voice. Your body learned to protect it.
This is where you learn that it's safe to use it again.
Somewhere along the way, you experienced trauma or chronic stress …
Your body and brain did what they were supposed to do — found a way to carry you through.
Your voice, exposed and intimate and impossible to hide behind, became part of how that protection took shape.
And now, when it’s time to express yourself…
→Your throat tightens up - making it impossible to sing or speak
→ Your body freezes up - and it feels legitimately dangerous to share your truth
→ Your anxiety is off the charts - is THIS “stage fright”?
→ You say yes when you mean no, even when you feel completely depleted
→ You doubt yourself, the value of what you have to say or sing - despite an inner knowing that you have something important that needs to be shared with the world.
→ OR, when you speak up or share your voice creatively, you go into a shame spiral afterwards
And even if you understand why all of this happens on a cognitive level, your body doesn't know the danger has now passed.
The good news? The body that learned to protect you can also learn to let go - that’s exactly what UNSILENCED
is here for.
You're not new to the work of reclaiming your voice.
You've done the voice coaching.
Done the spiritual work and the breath workshops and masterclasses.
Maybe you’ve even sat through (or graduated) the therapy.
So it's fair to ask: why would this be any different?
Why UNSILENCED works when
everything else didn’t…
Here’s the honest answer
Vocal training works on the output — your breath, your skill, the sound coming out. It's real, and important, but it can't reach what happens before the sound - the subconscious wiring on the operating level of your instrument of truth.
Therapy works on the story — what happened, what it meant, how you make sense of it now. Also real. Also necessary. But understanding why your voice shut down doesn't help tell your body it's safe to release it.
Spiritual Work touches the soul of it — the meaning, the calling, the sense that your voice is connected to something larger than you. And for many creatives connecting to their authentic truth, that dimension is real and necessary. But the body still needs a language it understands. Ritual and prayer can open the door. They don't always know how to walk you through it.
What none of these modalities address is the part actually running the show: your body's protective response in the live moment of self expression.
The clamp that fires down on your throat the second you're exposed - faster than thought - and far below the reach of spirit, mindset, skill, or willpower.
None of this is a skill issue. It's not even a mindset issue.
It's a felt safety issue in your nervous system - one that UNSILENCED is built to help you resolve.
Not by pushing past the fear. By teaching your body - slowly, and for real - that the
danger has passed and that expressing yourself freely and fully is no longer a threat.

Meet Your Guide… Elise
I know what it means to lose access to your voice. Not metaphorically — I mean the two times in my life I stopped singing, speaking up, creating, and not being able to access the part of me that felt most alive. I know what it is to do all the "right" things and still feel locked out of your own expression.
That's why I created UNSILENCED— not from a textbook, but from the lived experience I carry in my own body.
I'm Elise Besler, Somatic Experiencing™️ Practitioner, Somatic Voice Coach, and Neurosomatic Performance Anxiety Practitioner with 23 years of experience working at the intersection of voice, nervous system, and trauma healing. I help singers, creatives and expressive souls heal their relationship with their voice so they can be seen and heard without shrinking, freezing, or going blank.
If you’re curious about any of that, I invite you to join me for UNSILENCED.
Is UNSILENCED right for you?
Unsilenced is for you IF:
✓
You're a singer or creative whose voice has been silenced by trauma, chronic stress, anxiety, or a painful experience — and you're ready to resolve it, so you can sing and speak without shrinking back
✓
You've tried vocal coaching or therapy but something still locks up when you express yourself, or you have performance anxiety that holds you back
✓
You’re curious about body-based, nervous-system-informed healing — not just more tips and tricks
✓
You're looking for a non-performative safe container where nobody competes or critiques, yet still grow - together
✓
You want practices you can come back to — not just a one-time tip or trick
Unsilenced is not for you IF:
✗
You're looking for a traditional vocal skill program that focuses on fixing what's wrong. (P.S. there's nothing wrong - like, at all!)
✗
You want a performance-based critique space
✗
You only want to work on mindset and cognitive aspects of your voice challenges
✗
You're not ready to explore slowing down and listening to the wisdom of your own body
✗
You're looking for a one-time quick fix rather than an ongoing practice
✗
You want “guaranteed results” without going through the process

UNSILENCED- what you’ll experience and gain from this program…
These six sessions help you to:
Reclaim felt safety: learn to speak and sing without your body bracing first, so you can trust the sound before it leaves you.
Heal voice blocks and trauma & stress patterns: learn tools to work with freeze, fight, flight, and fawn as they show up in your throat and breath, so you can respond instead of shut down.
Heal generational voice trauma: Heal the silence that was handed to you before you ever had a voice of your own, so you can stop carrying what was never yours to hold.
Release stuck sound: Tap into the sound that's been sitting in your throat, chest, and jaw, so you can let it move instead of swallowing it down.
Embody your boundaries: Heal the version of you that performs instead of speaks, so you can create the life, relationships, and body of work you’re dreaming of.
De-shame your voice: Heal what "too loud" and "too much" actually mean in your body, so you can stop editing before you open your mouth.
Reclaim your free expression: This is your authentic voice. It’s what’s possible when the bracing, the shame, and the performing are gone, so you can express yourself without questioning the value of your voice.
Common Questions: Answered
Because the right information can be the thing that finally makes it feel safe to say yes.
-
Yes — and this matters deeply to me. I'm a certified Somatic Experiencing™ Practitioner (SEP®), trained in the method developed by Dr. Peter Levine specifically for healing trauma and chronic stress held in the body.
SE training is a three-year post-graduate certification — it's not a weekend course.
I'm also an ICF accredited Neurosomatic Intelligence Brain-Based Performance Anxiety Coach, a twice certified Somatic Voicework Practitioner, and I have 23 years of experience working with voices and nervous systems. Unsilenced is built on this foundation. You are in safe, qualified hands. -
Most healing work approaches the mind — the story, the belief, the pattern. Somatic therapeutics work at the level of the nervous system, where trauma and stress is actually held in the body.
This isn't talk therapy, and it isn't another vocal technique. It's body-based, relational, and cumulative — meaning each session builds on the last. What you're building here is a practice for life-long lasting change, not a one-time intervention. -
Every session is recorded and yours to download and keep. Life happens — the work is still available to you. That said, the live calls are where the real magic of the group container happens, and I encourage you to show up whenever you can.
-
Trauma and chronic stress isn't defined by the size of what happened — it's defined by how your nervous system responded to it.
If your voice tightens, disappears, or shuts down in ways you can't explain or control, that's your body telling you something. You don't need a diagnosis or a dramatic story to belong here. You just need a voice that's been holding something — and a readiness to let it begin to release. -
Live calls take place every [DAY] at [TIME] [TIMEZONE], beginning [START DATE]. All sessions run 90 minutes and are recorded and downloadable, so if you can't make it live you won't miss a thing.
